World of Dungeons: Heroes, Dungeons, Treasures!
Assume the role of a hero and play a barbarian, mage, archer, or one of many classes and races. Explore the perils and treasures deep down in the dungeons. Grow strong and powerful, acquire the perfect equipment for your character and find the best tactics for your group to master the challenges waiting in the dungeons.
Before each battle, you can choose the actions your hero will take. These actions are saved in one of your settings slots. You do not need to be online when the combat takes place, meaning you can play with friends in a group without all having to be online at the same time. The result of the combat is shown in the after battle report: Did your group prevail? What items did you find? How much gold, experience and fame did you gain?
During battle, the different races and classes can perform different actions. Fighters such as the barbarians destroy the monsters in close combat. Archers and mages attack from a distance. It is a good idea to have an alchemist or priest in your group, as they can heal the wounds your hero has encountered. Scholars and Bards improve the effectiveness of the heroes in combat and can be very important as supporting characters.
In the forum or in the chat channels a great community is waiting for you! New players are offered premium support as well as hints for their group's best tactics in their current dungeon.
You can also participate in duels, and register to fight in leagues and tournaments. If you are looking for or selling powerful armor or weapons, you can use the chat or forums to find a buyer or seller. You can also use the in-game auction or market to buy and sell items.

I have been playing for a few months now, and the game play is superb. It is a text adventure of the 21st century, set in a dungeon and dragon fantasy world. Your hero's battle it out with many hoards and denizens of the dungeon and surrounding wild lands. You do not battle alone, there are 11 other warrior and healer types to take with you.
You can form a clan and have clan wars also.
With the new update the game is even better.

This game works for me. I used to have like 5 different browser games where you can set a path and when you reach that goal, the game will get boring (Like Popomundo or Hattrick.) then i couldn't keep up with bitefights items because they were all costing real money. This game is very deep on the play for free mode and after a few months more i might try one of the premium characters. right now i am satisfied with all of the different options in the game

I've been playing for about 6 months now. I have dropped all the other games I play, many of which are high ranking on this list, to play this one more. I've even gotten a premium account. This is the first game that I've ever "invested" in. I would only do that for a worthy game. Come check it out!

World of Dungeons is by far the best browsergame i've ever played.
It is so different from most of the other games where you don't stand a chance if you can't check your account every 5 hours, otherwise your base/village/cave/whatever will be destroyed by some "rul0rs".
But, of course, people willing to invest much time into this game will be rewarded, too.
Although, as a player with a free account, you "just" have the choice between 3 different classes (barbarian, archer, mage), you can play all of them so differently, that none of them will ever be like the others - every hero is very unique.

I play WoD for an long time, i love this rpg-game, its the best i erver played and an nice community :-)

I play World-of-Dungeons in the german version for about one and a half year now and I still can't get loose.
It's the best Online RPG I've ever seen.
